Community Service for a Positive Impact
Community service at Discovery School provides students with valuable opportunities to practice empathy, serve those in need, and engage in personal growth and reflection.
We’re proud to partner with several wonderful organizations to make a difference:
-
NPH (Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos): Once a month, students bring food to share with our "brothers and sisters" at the NPH Orphanage.
-
Cape Cares: Students assist in local communities by serving as translators for medical teams visiting from the USA.
-
Techo Honduras: Students join in building projects and fundraising efforts to support underserved areas.
-
Elder Home "Cerro de Plata" and Fundación de Niños con Cáncer: Throughout the year, students lend a hand at the Elder Home and organize a gift drive for children with cancer, delivering over 120 gifts.
These activities are a meaningful way for students to connect with others and make a positive impact in their community.
