Optimal Learning Program

The Discovery School Optimal Learning Program (OLP) serves students with mild to moderate exceptional needs, commonly known as special needs services or pull-out support, offering them the opportunity to fully participate, contribute, and excel in the classroom. We believe that all students have unique needs, and at Discovery School, we nurture each child's strengths and areas for growth. The OLP focuses on providing both support/remediation and challenge beyond the curriculum/acceleration. Students receiving Optimal Learning (OL) services are equipped with necessary accommodations to empower them to reach their fullest academic potential. Our OLP recognizes the importance of addressing each student's needs within the classroom and supports faculty with differentiated instruction strategies and content delivery through the Inclusion model.
